Well im having a FML moment in my life. I really havent noticed much of a difference in my body. I am a stress eater and i have a lot of stress rigt now so i have to keep myself away from food. its hard. no wonder alot of people are overweight, every where you look there is somthing to do with food. <sigh> im having a hard time right now. i went to the gym today and did a mile on the cross train machine and 2 miles on the bike. an hour flys by when i work out.

Goin Strong!!
Well joining the gym was the best decision ever!!! Carrie (who i am now calling the energizer bunny, she just keeps going and going) is totally addicted to working out. She goes everday sometimes twice a day! She is my role model. She is going to look so smokin hot in no time. I haven't figured out when the best time would be for me to workout but i am thinking right after work. I know Treena and Carrie have a hard time going at that time but I think that time is easier for me and I also think its easier for Savannah. Either way i love the gym. I love the weight machines and diffrent cardio machines. So far My favorite is the tredmil and cycle. The Best Part.......all the machines have T.V.'s hooked up to Cable, so i can watch my shows while i work out. LOVE IT!!! There are some pretty interesting people that go to the gym. There was a older lady in her 60+'s and she was totally kickin my a** on the weights. And i don't understand how people can run for hours straight on the machine. I can barley go a minute. Oh well i know i will reach that point someday. Whoo!!

Well I took the plundge and commited myself to a 3 years of Gym excersising. I am so EXCITED!!! I have fabulous friends to go with, Carrie, Savannah, and Treena. We all joined Impact Athletic yesterday. I can't wait for the variety of equipment and excersises that i can do. No more of the same routine. I saw some of the women that walked in there and most of them were about my size so i won't feel out of place with a whole bunch of skinny tanned barbie dolls. Super-duper excited
The best part about this gym is that it's located right next to the hospital so if i end up passing out then its not to far away.
Here are my Gym Buddies, we are going to have so much fun together and laugh to much at each other.
Carrie Bennett
Carrie is super fun and always makes me laugh. She has a great sense of humor and has a great smile. She is my good friend and also my AWESOME blog stalker.
Savannah has been my best friend forever and we have a sister-like relationship. She is so much fun to be around and we are constently laughing. She is my motivator and keeps me on track fro the excersises and diet.
Treena Crawley
I have worked with Treena for about a year. She is a blast and easy to talk too. I feel like I have known her forever.

Motivation is key
Well I have gotten to wear I drink a bottle of water a day. I have also hit a mile stone. I have lost 5 lbs!! But I haven't been working out my three days a week, i just kind of throw in some strength excersise every now and then. Its not very effective. So I have been thinking about joining a gym. I am getting super bored with the flirty girl dancing and i don't feel like its enough of an excersise. I think i want to get on a machine and sweat my guts out. The only problem is that i don't know anyone that has a membership too. So i would have to go by myself and i don't know if i would be able to motivate myself to go as often as i want. As far as the diet goes i don't think im doing to bad. I have a lean cuisine for lunch and i love them. They are so small that i didn't think i would feel full, but i do. My favorite so far is the pizza. At dinner time i eat regular food just in moderation. I read that stress causes strange eating habits and a tenancy to over eat. My husband and I are applying to buy our first home and it is very stressful, so think i just need to keep that in mind. I have a good friend that is setting small goal for herself and then rewarding herself once they are accomplished. I think that is a fabulous idea. I know that if i hit my long term goal then i am rewarding myself by going shopping for new clothes. I'll have to think of some small rewards form my small goals! Thanks for the idea Carrie!

Smaller Goals Equal BIG Success
Well im going to keep my long term goals but I need to set some smaller weekly goals or even daily. I think i will start with trying to drink one bottle of water everyday. I am really bad at drinking water. I usually only drink while i am eating at lunch and dinner. Lets start with that goal and see how it goes. I don't have to many ideas of smaller goals so leave me comments about suggestions. I can use them.
